1/2 pack spaghetti
200g mince meat
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 medium tomato
5tbs tomato sauce
5tbs barbecue sauce
1 tbs soy sauce
salt + pepper + mixed spice
In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Place the tomato in the water until skin begins to peel.
Remove the tomato and let it cool. Peel, and puree.
In a large pan, add the mince meat and sauces. Stir through then add the onion and pureed tomato.
Season to liking with the salt, pepper and mixed spice.
Cover and cook on medium heat for 15minutes making sure the sauce does not thicken. Stir occasionally.
If the sauce thickens too much, add a few tablespoons of water.
In another pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the spaghetti, then leave to cook through.
Drain the spaghetti and dish it up in a bowl. Add a generous serving of the meat sauce on top.
